Bayshore Precinct URA Masterplan
The completion of the Bayshore and Bedok South MRT stations along the Thomson East Coast line in 2024 is set to boost residential development in the Bayshore area.
In line with the strategy to create more housing options close to employment opportunities and to achieve a balanced combination of public and private residences, the precinct will feature various supporting amenities and recreational facilities.
According to the 2019 urban development plan, the Bayshore area is envisioned as a vibrant waterfront community, potentially showcasing sea view properties and designed to be a car-light environment.
Additionally, an integrated transport hub is planned for the Bedok South station. This will include a fully air-conditioned bus interchange connected to MRT stations and nearby shopping centers, enhancing convenience and comfort for local commuters and Bagnall Haus residents.
